Welcome to Mazzard Farm Holiday Cottages. We are a small, award-winning, complex of 6 luxury cottages (converted from barns in 2008), situated 5 miles off the Jurassic coast in East Devon, just North of Sidmouth. East Devon is one of Britain's most beautiful holiday spots, and recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Our cottages provide accommodation for individuals and groups of up to 24 people (and, if needed, plenty of cots for little ones in addition to that). You will find Mazzard Farm a haven of peace and tranquillity, allowing you to relax and unwind. Whether you just want to relax, exert yourself, are looking for a great place for the children to play and roam around safely, or just need a base to explore the area, Mazzard Farm has it all.

Each cottage is furnished to an extremely high standard of comfort and style, with quality beds, kitchens and bathrooms as standard.

Each cottage has a wood burning stove*, HD ready TV (incl. all Freeview channels), DVD player and HiFi set. Wireless internet is available, free of charge. Some cottages are equipped with a dishwasher, and Medlar and Pippin Cottages have under-floor heating at ground level.

Given the high level of comfort each of the cottages provides, and the facilities both on-site and in the area, Mazzard Farm is a great all-year-round holiday destination (remember the wood burners!). We are open all year, with booking possible for weekends (Friday – Monday) and mid-weeks (Monday – Friday) during most of the year (except for June – August when all cottages are available on a weekly basis only). Change-over day is Friday, but outside of high season we can be flexible (just ask).

Facilities at Mazzard Farm:

There are a number of barbeque areas in the grounds (BBQs provided).

On-site, there is ample opportunity to move around, including our orchard, gardens, children’s play area and our own woods. In addition, there are many walks and rambles in the (immediate) area, some of whom start right from the farm.

The first children’s play area includes a trampoline, sand pit, climbing frame and slide. In addition, a second larger outdoor play area, with large 'pirate castle', swings, TP's and football pitch is aimed especially at the older children.

We have some bikes (incl. Child seats and a tag-along) available for rent. We have a good selection of books, games, CDs and DVDs, free for you to borrow whilst at Mazzard Farm. WiFi (free of charge) is available in each cottage

There is a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and ironing board.

Whilst at Mazzard Farm, why not allow yourself some indulgence and quality time, and book one of the pamper treatments available on-site.  In the comfort of your own cottage, we can provide you with a range of individual treatments. If there is a group of you, we can put together, in close dialogue with you, a complete Pamper Session, allowing you and your friends some quality time together, whilst two or three therapists (depending on the size of your party) provide a range of 20-minute sessions.

Mazzard Farm is ideally situated for anyone looking for playing some of the South West's greatest colf courses. Within 20 minutes drive from Mazzard Farm, there is an abundance of golf courses to choose from, from driving ranges and courses for learners to highly sophisticated courses requiring a minimum handicap.

We have been able to agree reduced green fees with some of these courses.
