Also available is a 1 double bedroom ground floor garden suite with Jacuzzi bathroom and large private lounge with large colour TV and free view. James House is situated in an attractive, cul-de-sac tucked well away from noise and traffic within a short walk of the Wheatsheaf public house with Beefeater restaurant, and within walking distance of Coleshill’s various inns, restaurants and shops with its charming market town ambiance.

Janice James, building on her great success with 'The Railway Guest House' and 'The Railway Inn & Restaurant' both located 3 miles away in a rural village setting, opened James House in October 2006. Janice realised there was a need for quality accommodation in the Coleshill area to serve visitors to the NEC and other amenities. The location of James House makes it perfect for playing the famous golf courses of The Belfry and Forest or Arden,  NEC or Birmingham International Airport and Railway Station, which are only 2miles away, accessible by bus, car or taxi. The position of James House to the motorway network cannot be beaten, as it is 0.5 miles from M6, M42, M6 Toll and A45. Coleshill is a quaint market town and is 15 mins from Birmingham, 20 mins from Coventry and 15 mins from Tamworth.

James House has been transformed with care and complemented by quality furnishings and fittings with relaxing neutral colours, individually planned rooms and functional guest areas, all designed to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We have our own private off road car park and all rooms are non-smoking.

The Marston Lakes course is a beautifully laid out 9 hole lake and parkland course build to USGA specification. Whilst short by modern standards it will provide an enjoyable test for golfers of all abilities and require every club in your golf bag. In addition to this fine course we offer our long established Par 3 Academy course which is enjoyable to play and ideal for mastering the short game. Our 30 bay driving range is floodlit till 10pm with power tees, targets and teaching bays. In addition to this we offer fully stocked Pro shop, computerized golf simulator and tuition by our golf professionals. Junior and group lessons are available

The Belfry

One of the worlds most famous golf destinations, a visit to The De Vere Belfry is a must for any one with a passion for the game of golf. There are three courses to enjoy. All three courses at The Belfry are well worth playing. The Derby Course is a par 70 layout measuring just over 6,000 yards and is suited to all standards of player; the PGA National Course presents more of a challenge and measures over 7,000 yards from the championship tees; while the Brabazon Course is quite simply one of the finest inland tests of golf in the United Kingdom. And while the Brabazon Course offers countless fine holes, it is probably the par four 10th that is regarded as the signature hole. According to former Ryder Cup player, Ken Brown, "- it is one of the great holes of golf in a match play situation-the green nestles between the lake and mature trees to provide a memorable and picturesque setting-it provides the possibility of birdies, eagles or disasters".
