Casa Moleiro with six double bedrooms and four large bathrooms is able to sleep twelve, and is situated in Carvoeiro which was an old fishing village which has grown into a popular resort but one which still retains charm.

It is detached and situated in landscaped gardens in a residential close of luxury properties. The closest beach is a few hundred metres away. There are three a short walk away and the towns restaurants start 300 metres from the villa. Some of our clients book a taxi from the airport and do not rent a car as the villa is so well located.

The Villa

The lockable gated swimming pool is one of the largest private pools in Carvoeiro at 12 by 6 metres.

Hot water is provided by the solar system. The air conditioned lounge and dining area is extremely spacious and opens on to a beautiful patio area.

On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a large lounge/dining area with a wood fire and air conditioning. There is also a separate sitting room with a satellite TV with DVD player. The property has a large fully fitted kitchen which caters for all your self catering needs. From the Lounge there is access through large patio doors to good size terrace with BBQ and outside table and chairs.

On the first floor the property has a further 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All the bedrooms are a good size. There is a further terracing area from the first floor. There are fans in all rooms.

The two balconies have sea views. The villa is managed and has maid service and pool and garden maintenance. The villa management company have been managing in Carvoeiro for twenty years. They are there to answer any questions for those renting the villa.

At night the fishing boat lights can be seen from the villa. Locally produced fruit and vegetables can be bought at the market.

The Village : Carvoeiro is best described as an old fishing village which has grown into a holiday resort but still retains much of it’s charm. It is often marketed as the Algarve’s “premier” resort. The sandy main beach is situated next to the town square. There are approximately four hundred bars and restaurants some of which offer live entertainment. The town is easily reached on foot from the villa. Carvoeiro is located amongst some of the best beaches in the Algarve.

Activities nearby; Besides the extensive golf there are many other activities including boat rides through the sea caves to the grottoes and secret beaches, tennis, horse riding, water parks, activity parks, shopping centres, trips to the Monchique Mountains, Lagos Zoo, Diving (a diving school is just a few hundred metres from the Villa).

Golf : Carvoeiro is surrounded by championship golf courses. There are three in the town which include two 18 hole courses on the Pestana resort and a 9 hole par 3 course at Vale do Milho.

Vale da Pinta Golf Course

The 8 times consecutive host of the European Seniors Tour Qualifying final, Vale de Pinta is rightly respected not just for its playability and challenging layout but for outstanding levels of beauty and enjoyment. Designed by the famous American golf course architect Ronald Fream and inaugurated in 1992 Vale de Pinta has earned its place as one of the best designed courses in Europe.

Gramacho Golf Course

After his success designing the Vale de Pinta course, Ronald Fream teamed up with the former world No. 1 Nick Price to create the unique design of Gramacho. With 18 holes and 27 greens, plus numerous different tee points, players are able to enjoy the same course time and time again but always with slightly different challenges. Apart from the fantastic golf design, Ronald and Nick managed to incorporate the traditional landscape by utilizing the natural stone outcrops, historical dry stone walling and existing ancient trees with some artfully sculpted lakes and bunkers. The effect is a wonderful journey through the countryside.

Vale de Milho Golf Course

As 70% of the game of golf is decided with approach and putting, the course has been specifically designed to test and improve a players skills in these areas. The greens are built to provide a very consistant putting surface, and are also especially receptive to a well struck shot.
